Rooted Urbanism

With our multidisciplinary team W, we were selected to participate in the Design Charette Hart van Holendrecht, organized by Architectuurcentrum Amsterdam (Arcam), the HvA and Eigen Haard, at the end of 2021. Our approach was to approach the assignment from an ecological perspective. By asking open questions, strengthening existing neighborhood initiatives and taking the concept of “residents” more broadly than just people, we wanted to arrive at a layered design vision for this promising and green neighbourhood.
